The FIM Historic Events

In parallel with certification, FIM is creating a series of events called “FIM Historic Events”.

These events will be held on request and in collaboration with organisers/promoters and national federations who share this vision of quality and authenticity on the great historic circuits of the classic scene, at the biggest international sports events and at major international shows.

All machines invited to take part by the organiser must have been certified in the FIM database beforehand so that the public can be shown a very authentic and high-quality selection.

A theme can be requested by the organiser for each FIM Historic Event and implemented under the existing FIM special rules, which set out the organisational arrangements.

Several FIM Historic Events have already been held to test the concept: Estoril Classics / SRC Paul Ricard / Charade Heroes / Grand Prix de France MotoGP Le Mans / Imola 200 Revival, etc.
